The Lust List #3

It's been a while since I've done a lust list, and with Valentine's Day right around the corner it seemed appropriate! Here are a few things that I haven't been able to get my mind off of recently. 

I'm not sure what first jumps out to you, but the first thing I see is this AH-MAY-ZING leather biker jacket from SheInside.com. It looks so chic and sexy and sleek, perfect for the grudge biker cool look, which isn't exactly anything someone might say about me when they meet me, haha. It's very contrasted to my personality, and thats why I love it. It's edgy and dark and just fabulous.

Moving down, there are two new shades by OPI that I just need to get. The light blue is "Can't Find My Czechbook" and it's a milky, yet bright, almost robin's egg blue. The second color is "You're Such a Buddahpest" (you have to love these names!) and it's a PERFECT lilac shade. If you ask the girl who does my nails, I literally spend every spare moment I had looking for a shade exactly like this last fall and the thrill I feel at it finally existing is just beyond words.

Next is the floral bustier top from Topshop. Since it's from Topshop, I won't be able to readily get my hands on it in the states, but I'd happily settle for any girly floral top like this one. I think it would just be lovely for spring (yes, I'm already thinking ahead to spring outfits. 2013 A/W Fashion Week was last week for gosh sakes! ;) ).

Going up is a curling wand by Baby Bliss and this is really just the first pink one I could find, and I wouldn't be particular at all about which curling wand I can get my hands on. I just think it would be super handy to have one to reshape my curls after a day or two since it's terrible for them to be washed every day, and they tend to start to lose their shape after a day and a half.

Next, I'm sure my sister and friends are all screaming "hypocrite!" at this next item, because I swore I would never ever wear a pair of these, but creepers have grown on me SO much that I just need to get my hands on a pair before they fade away. I'm hoping they stick around for next fall/winter too. 

Last but not least is a MAC lipstick. I recently bought my first MAC lipstick and it's an absolute dream, so now I'm completely spoiled for them. This is "Saigon Summer" and looks like the PERFECT light orange/red color for spring and summer. I got into orange lips late last summer, so now I can seriously rock it this year.

January Favorites 2013

I contemplated making a blog post about these items instead of posting the video here, but I thought that some of these items would be difficult to photograph some of these accurately, and I also had a bunch of homework I needed to do. So here are my favorites for the month of January and I'd love to know what you all were in love with during the first month of the year!

25 Facts About Me

Oh hi there :) This post was inspired by a couple of bloggers who have done the same thing recently, and I thought it would be an easy way to share my life outside of the fashutysphere (<--new word right there, I better patent that). 

1. I love the radio. I have 12 different programmed stations and rarely listen to my iPod in the car

2. I've literally watched every episode of "Friends". More than once

3. Harry Potter is my all time favorite series.

4. I own 71 OPI nail polishes

5. My time management skills are probably some of the worst you'll ever encounter.

6. I adore baseball, especially Cardinals baseball.

7. I went to a private school for 1st-8th grade.

7th grade, braces....tell me why this picture was ever taken, again?

8. I've never left the United States and have only been as far west as Kansas City, Missouri

9. I went on a school trip to Washington DC in 8th grade and to NYC my sophomore year of high school.

10. My feet and hands are constantly cold, but I refuse to wear socks and only own one pair of gloves.

11. My boyfriend and I live 250 miles away from each other.

This picture is just over a year and a half old now. Time really does fly! (now I sound like an old woman, haha)

12. I love watching wedding TV shows.

13. I'm transferring schools in the fall

14. I absolutely hate cherries and anything cherry scented or flavored (candy, chapstick, medicine, etc)

15. My hair is naturally curly (no perm required) and it's always been like this.

16. When I was a junior in high school, I chopped off all my hair and kept it short until the end of my senior yet, and now I'm still in the process of growing it all back out.

17. I didn't fly on a airplane until I was almost 18 years old.

18. I am 100% addicted to Twitter (my link is on the right if you want to follow!)

19. I kept a pacifier until I was almost 5 years old. 

20. I literally cannot remember any of my freshman year of high school except for the very last day, and I remember very little of my sophomore year.

Hahaha, sophomore year,  2009....classic.

21. I love love love babies, but they terrify me. I'm always afraid I'll permanently damage them or scar them for life.

22. Spongebob is my favorite cartoon, and Tyler and I regularly quote it to each other.

23. If I start eating Chips Ahoy cookies, I will literally eat an entire sleeve of them. I can't stop. They have to be the crunchy ones though, because the chewy kind are not as good.

24. I am a terrible worrier.
